The Allure of Coastal Paint Colors

The concept of coastal design spurs on thoughts of seashells and sandy-hued neutrals combined with happy color accents like cerulean blues, coral pinks and bright yellows.

Coastal, however, doesn’t have to mean rustic. Modern style elements in this coastal cottage bedroom include a sleek lamp on the nightstand and a chevron-printed chair that adds contemporary playfulness against blush walls in Pristine OC-75. And with its slight pink undertone, White Opulence OC-69 on both ceiling and trim adds both continuity and contrast.
